FA Cup: Ossett United game will be all-ticket, with season ticket holders given priority

Consett’s next FA Cup match is on Saturday 12 September, when we face Ossett United from the Northern Premier League (KO 3pm).

Like last week’s home FA Cup game v Ryhope CW, and yesterday’s FA Vase semi-final v Bitton, supporters will be required to buy a ticket for the game (though no physical tickets will be issued).

Regular matchday admission prices apply – £7 for adults, £5 for over-65s and £2 for under-16s – and track and trace details will be required.

Season ticket holders will again be given preference, and they can apply from 10am-10pm on Monday 7 September and Tuesday 8 September.

Ossett will receive an allocation in line with competition rules, and any remaining tickets will go on public sale on Wednesday.

Ossett United are a new club, formed in 2018 by a merger between Consett’s former FA Cup opponents Ossett Town and their local rivals Ossett Albion.

They play in the same league as Marske United and Dunston, one step up from the Northern League.

Season tickets are still available from the club, priced £100 for adults, £60 for over-65s and £20 for under-16s.

This represents major savings on our regular matchday prices of £7, £5 and £2 respectively, and guarantees entry to all 19 home league games. Priority is also given for cup matches.
