Consett get the go-ahead to admit home supporters – starting with a friendly this Saturday v Crook Town

Consett have today been given the go-ahead for the return of home spectators to Belle View Stadium.

It means up to 150 supporters will be able to attend our next game, a home friendly v Crook Town on Saturday, kick-off 2pm.

Tickets are on sale from 7.15pm tonight to season ticket holders, priced £5 for adults, £3 for OAPs and £2 for under-16s. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale from 9.15am tomorrow.

As usual, places must be reserved in advance, and track and trace details are required. Call at the clubhouse or call (01207) 588886.

A guidance note issued by The FA said: “It is extremely important that spectators remain in their household or social bubble in groups of six, do not mix with any other spectator groups, or travel between tiers to attend fixtures, as enforceable by law.

“If breaches of spectator limits or social distancing are reported, clubs and leagues may face returning to fixtures being held behind closed doors.”
