Consett’s scheduled Durham Challenge Cup tie at Birtley Town tonight has been postponed.

After a lot of rain in recent days, the pitch at the Arrowmark Home Improvements Stadium is waterlogged and unplayable.

No date has yet been set to try to play the game – our first-ever competitive visit to Birtley – again.
