Consett’s next two home games – against Hebburn and Pontefract – get new dates

Consett’s next two home Northern Premier League games, against Hebburn Town and Pontefract Collieries, have both been switched to new dates.

The Hebburn game, which was meant to be on Saturday 16 September, will now take place on Friday 15 September, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

And the Pontefract game – which is being replayed after the original fixture on 15 August was abandoned due to floodlight failure – has been brought forward.

It was originally rescheduled for Tuesday 26 September, but after both clubs were knocked out of the FA Trophy at the weekend it will now be on Saturday 23 September, with a 3pm kick-off.
