Dominic Curl is a versatile defender who signed from Northern League club Crook Town on 1 February 2024.
The left-footed 23-year-old, who can play left-back or centre-back, is best known for his time at Shildon.
He made his debut for them as a 17-year-old, and, after a brief loan spell at Tow Law Town, went on to make 167 appearances for the Railwaymen, scoring one goal.
After helping Shildon win the Durham Challenge Cup in 2019 and promotion to the Northerm Premier League in 2021-22, he moved to Marske United in the summer of 2022.
He managed only seven NPL appearances for the Seasiders before suffering a serious injury in February 2023 which needed surgery.
After joining Bishop Auckland at the beginning of 2023-24, he switched to Crook Town in November, proving his form and fitness before Consett made their move.
He managed only nine appearances before breaking his foot v Stockton Town on April 1, and missed the rest of the season.
