Josh Wilson - CONSETT AFC

Josh is part of Consett manager Terry Mitchell’s Newcastle United Foundation team, and also plays for Newcastle East End U23s.

He signed on 21 November 2019 to provide extra goalkeeping cover for first-choice keeper Kyle Hayes.

He made his debut in the Durham Challenge Cup 2nd Round tie v Esh Winning on 17 December 2019, and kept a clean sheet.

A good shot-stopper, he’s improving all the time under the watchful eye of goalkeeping coach Ben Cole.

Josh was an unused sub in the 2020 FA Vase semi-final win over Bitton, and the final vs Hebburn at Wembley.
